Our LED Throwie installation consists of constructing an image of Black Mage, an iconic character of the popular Final Fantasy franchise of video games. As a symbol, it represents part of the culture of RPI students, and our intent is to establish that even if we have no explicit message to show, we can still give ourselves representation in public art. Our placement will be the back of the bleachers, in front of Troy building, a place where the high traffic will yield many observers who will recognize the piece and understand it.
